Privacy policy
1. Who we are
Mart Consulting Company ("Mart Consulting", "we") operates Advanced Reporting by SafeScore (the "service") for its clients: companies that use it for their financial and management reporting. This policy says what information the service holds, why, and what happens to it.
2. What the service collects
- From QuickBooks Online and other accounting systems, when an administrator of a QuickBooks company or another accounting system connects it, as the client's reports need: the company's details, its chart of accounts, its transactions and ledger (invoices, payments, deposits, bills, checks, journal entries and similar records), and the names of its customers and vendors.
- From the client's other systems and files: equipment lists and settlements from its transportation management systems, and the documents users upload, such as lessor invoices, loan agreements and loan schedules.
- About users: name, email address, the client company they work for, and their roles in the service.
- About use: sign-in records, including the IP address and browser, and the pages and actions used. These are kept for security and support.
- Access keys for each connected QuickBooks company, stored encrypted.
3. How it is used
To produce the client's reports, to support the client, and to keep the service secure and working. We do not sell the information, use it for advertising, or share it except as section 4 describes.
4. Who else handles it
- Microsoft Azure hosts the service and its database, in the United States.
- Intuit provides the QuickBooks data a client connects, under the client's own agreement with Intuit.
- Datatruck provides the Datatruck and Fintruck data a client connects, under the client's own agreement with Datatruck.
- Anthropic provides the AI that reads a loan agreement when a user chooses to have it read that way. Only that document goes to Anthropic, which processes it under its commercial terms.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
5. Where and how it is kept
In the United States. Information travels encrypted (HTTPS). QuickBooks access keys are encrypted before they are stored, with keys kept on the service's own server. Access to the service requires a sign-in, and each user sees only what their roles at their company allow.
6. How long it is kept
While the client uses the service. When a QuickBooks company is disconnected in the service, its access key is deleted at once; when the app is removed in QuickBooks instead, the key stops working and the service deletes it the next time it tries to read. What was read before stays in the client's reports until the client asks for it to be deleted or its agreement ends. After that, we delete the client's information within 30 days, except copies in backups, which are overwritten within 90 days, and anything the law requires us to keep.
7. Choices and requests
The client's administrators manage who has access and which systems are connected. Users can ask to see or correct the information about them, and clients can ask for their information to be deleted, by writing to info@martconsulting.net.
8. Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed to children.
9. Changes to this policy
We post changes here, with a new effective date.
